domaine de clairefontaine was a delightful stay in chonas-l'amballan. the staff was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent english. the rooms were comfortable and had a traditional french country style. the breakfast spread was delicious, with fresh cheeses, meats, and nespresso coffee.

I was totaly surprised coming down the dirt road and then the beautiful estate opened up.

We received such a warm welcome from the staff and the chef. The food prepared for us was excellent,can't wait to return.

The accommodation was very comfortable and in such a beautiful setting. The gardens are beautifully maintained. The staff were so very helpful and courteous making our stay very special. The food was spectacular and service exceptional. I highly recommend Domaine de Clairefontaine.

The charming decoration of Domaine de Clairefontaine instantly made me feel at home. The classic and authentic style of the main house, with its elegant furnishings and warm accents, created a cozy atmosphere throughout. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with spacious areas and easy navigation for someone like me.

If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have the staff provide more assistance and information to accommodate our needs. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit overwhelmed and could benefit from a bit more training in helping older guests feel comfortable and well-taken care of.

The accommodation was tastefully decorated with a great bathroom. the location was quiet and spectacular, and it was only a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go. the staff was fabulously helpful and responded promptly to requests.

The service here is great with on-site parking, the staff is super friendly and attentive, and the location is just a short walk to gardens, a long-standing restaurant, and a chocolate factory.
